Photographed entirely on location, this shoot involved literally taking the studio outside.
The brief was to photograph ten pairs of shoes on location for web, e commerce and advertising purposes, there were three types of shot to be taken on location in a formal and informal setting and then all the shoes shot in the studio for e commerce and web use.
Carrying about half a ton of equipment between three people up a long and steep hill for about a mile and a half on our quest to find the perfect place to photograph these high quality items.
We were fairly lucky with the weather as we only had to contend with a torrential down poor three times during the day, luckily I’d remembered to take three large golfing umbrellas so it was just a matter of dry everything off and start again.
I hope you’l agree it was well worth all the hard work as it’s the end result that matters which will last for a long time after all the pain and exertion is long forgotten.
